Universal Life guarantees the protection of the visitor’s/user’s personal data as provided by the terms hereof, by the Processing of the European Union Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, General Data Protection Regulation, (hereinafter called “Law”).
Universal Life collects visitors’ personal data and information only when they provide them in order to request more information on products, services or other company issues. Users’ personal data may be used for communication purposes, for providing and upgrading products and services provided to them, as well as for informing them of products and services that may be of interest to them.
Accordingly, Universal Life shall in no case disclose visitors’ personal data to any third party or to any company of the Universal Group unless (1) provided by any law or (2) provided otherwise by the Processing of Personal Data (Protection of Individual) Law of 2001 or (3) upon your written consent or request.
The user/visitor of this Site, subject to the Processing of Personal Data (Protection of Individual) Law of 2001 N138(1)/2001 has the right of access and correction of his personal data pursuant to articles 12 and 13 of the above law.
Minors are allowed access to Universal Life’s internet site subject to their parents/ or guardians consent only and are not required to supply any personal data.

The recipients of data are the authorized personnel of Universal and any party that has a contractual agreement with Universal which maintains satisfactory confidentiality protection measures and levels of processing security. The recipients may also be doctors who have examined or will examine you as well as the competent staff of their clinics/private offices, your insurance intermediary who has a contractual agreement with Universal and the competent staff of any reinsurance company that has a contractual agreement with Universal.

For the purposes of processing mentioned above, Universal may transmit data to other countries inside and outside the E.U. These transfers will take place within the framework set by the Law and after the necessary notifications to the relevant authorities.
5. How long do we keep your personal data for
We will keep your personal data for as long as we have a contractual relationship with you. Once our contractual relationship with you has ended, we may keep your data if we cannot delete it for legal, regulatory or technical reasons.
