MultiCare Essential

MultiCare Essential is the only health plan in Cyprus especially designed to cover 6 critical illnesses both in Cyprus and abroad for all incurred expenses.

With a very affordable monthly premium, you can acquire an in-patient health plan that covers expenses for treatment, travel and accommodation and other additional expenses with an annual maximum limit of up to €1.000.000 (and lifetime maximum limit, up to €2.000.00).

As MultiCare is an international health plan, customers can select the country in which to receive treatment based on their choice of regions: Area 1 will provide you cover for the whole world and Area 2 will provide cover for the whole world excluding the USA, Canada and Switzerland.

MutiCare Essential provides protection for the following six critical illnesses:

Cancer Treatment
Cardiovascular Surgery
Surgery to Aorta
Heart Valve Repair and Replacement
Stroke
Transplants (live-donor transplants)

Patients can select the private hospital of their choice either in Cyprus or abroad in order to be treated. Through the Preferred Providers Network, they can have access to more than 200 private doctors, hospitals and providers and more than 11.000 private providers abroad.

You also have the facility of direct settlement of claims both in Cyprus and abroad for in-hospital bills and specific diagnostic tests.

Pregnancy: The benefit covers normal pregnancy and child birth including in-patient and out-patient antenatal and post-natal consultation and delivery. It also covers charges for treatment related to complications incurred during pregnancy including caesarean section.
Cover for newborn babies: MultiCare offers cover for newborn babies as long as they join their parent's plan within three months of their day of birth.
